The Material

Unbleached bamboo, four-ply, cloth-like rather than papery, without the chemical softeners conventional paper relies on to feel acceptable. Bamboo fibre is naturally finer than wood pulp, which lets us hold a four-ply density on its own.
100% unbleached bamboo fibre at 58+ GSM. The cream colour is the colour of the fibre itself, unaltered. No chlorine, no PFAS, no BPA, no fragrance, none of the formaldehyde or petroleum resins paper usually hides behind a scent.

The Source
Our bamboo is moso bamboo, grown in FSC-certified regenerative groves in Sichuan, harvested without replanting, pesticides, or irrigation. After harvest, the plant regrows from its existing root system in three to five years. The fibre is processed near the harvest, then shipped to our Canadian facility for final inspection and packing.
