BAMBUM is unbleached bamboo at four-ply density — cloth-like rather than papery, without the chemical softeners conventional paper relies on to feel acceptable. No chlorine, no PFAS, no BPA, no fragrance.

100% unbleached bamboo fibre, four-ply at 58+ GSM. Bamboo fibre is naturally finer than wood pulp, which lets us hold a four-ply density without any of the chemical softeners (formaldehyde, petroleum resins, fragrance) that conventional paper uses to feel acceptable. The cream colour is the colour of the fibre itself, unaltered.

Our bamboo is moso bamboo, grown in FSC-certified regenerative groves in Sichuan, China — harvested without replanting, pesticides, or irrigation. After harvest, the plant regrows from its existing root system in three to five years. The fibre is processed at a specialised paper facility built within reach of the harvest, then shipped to our Canadian facility for final inspection and packing.
